For the first time, Hera has seen Didymos and Dimorphos as two separate asteroids. From 1,280 km away, tiny Dimorphos appears as just around one pixel.
But not for long! Hera will get a much closer look in November, investigating the aftermath of NASA’s DART impact and helping us learn more about planetary defence.
