Rocket Lab successfully launched an Electron rocket carrying three Hawk 360 satellites from Launch Complex 1 in New Zealand on Oct. 23, 2026, at 3:11 a.m. EDT (0711 GMT / 8:11 p.m. local time).
The mission, dubbed "We're Not Hawking Around," delivered the satellites into a 323-mile-high (520-kilometer) orbit.
The satellites are designed to detect and track radio-frequency signals from space, supporting maritime surveillance, communications monitoring, GPS jamming detection and defense operations.
The launch marked Rocket Lab's 98th Electron mission and its 19th launch of 2026.
