On Aug. 28, 2026, President Donald J. Trump spoke with NASA astronauts Jessica Meir, Jack Hathaway, and Anil Menon as they orbited Earth aboard the International Space Station. This is the first time that a sitting U.S. President has called the station from the Mission Control Center at NASA's Johnson Space Center, and only the second time that a President has called a crew in orbit from Mission Control.
