China carried out four orbital rocket launches from September 15–16, 2026. On Sept. 15, LandSpace’s Zhuque-2E Y7 lifted off at 2:26 a.m. ET (06:26 UTC) from Jiuquan, carrying 10 satellites for the SpaceSail constellation. Later that day, Orienspace’s Gravity-1 launched at 6:00 p.m. ET (22:00 UTC) from the Haiyang Oriental Spaceport, carrying nine communications satellites. China conducted two more launches. A Long March 12 lifted off at 8:32 p.m. ET on Sept. 16 (00:32 UTC Sept. 17) from Hainan, carrying the 25th group of low-Earth-orbit internet satellites.
